Soundy Pay Limited · Vancouver, Canada · Pre-launch
We are building a B2B foreign-exchange and international money-movement service for international companies — deliberately, and in the right order. FINTRAC registration is in preparation, and we are not currently offering regulated money services to the public. Launch is subject to required registrations and approvals.

Planned services
Every service below is planned and not yet available. Nothing on this page is an offer. Launch is subject to required registrations and approvals.
Buying and selling foreign currencies for business purposes — converting between the Canadian dollar and major world currencies with plain confirmations and honest timelines.

Moving business funds across borders — supplier payments, intercompany transfers, and payroll-related remittances handled as deliberate, documented instructions.
Status: in design · no live clients
Issuing or redeeming money orders and similar negotiable instruments for the situations where businesses still rely on them.
Status: in design · no live clients
Exchange between virtual currencies and Canadian dollars for eligible business clients, treated with the same discipline as any other corridor.

Payment services tied to invoices, payables, and receivables for commercial clients. Many invoice and payment intermediary services are treated under Canadian law as remitting or transmitting funds, and we plan our program on that basis.
Any in-scope retail payment activity will begin only after applicable registration under the Retail Payment Activities Act with the Bank of Canada.

Registration and reviews come first; services follow. We would rather launch later and launch right than describe capabilities we do not yet have.

Process principles
Commitments we are designing into the service now, so they are habits by launch day.
The program comes before the product. We will not launch any service until the required registrations and approvals are in place — and we say so on every page.
Plain-language confirmation of amount, currency, and expected timing before anything moves. No mystery steps, no fine-print surprises.
Predictable cut-offs and honest timelines beat heroic promises. We are designing for a cadence a finance team can plan around.
A person will read what you send, not a queue or a bot — once we publish a way to reach us.
Every instruction documented, every review written down. We are building files an auditor could follow — not just screenshots.
Pre-launch regulatory status
Soundy Pay Limited is a pre-launch company. FINTRAC registration is in preparation, and we are not currently offering regulated money services to the public. Launch is subject to required registrations and approvals.
Under Canada’s Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act, a business must complete FINTRAC registration before offering money services such as those we plan. We have not completed that step, and we will not offer these services until it is done.
Where our planned business payment services fall within the scope of the Retail Payment Activities Act, any in-scope retail payment activity will begin only after applicable registration under that Act with the Bank of Canada.
Registration, once completed, is a legal requirement — not an endorsement of Soundy Pay Limited by FINTRAC, the Bank of Canada, or any other authority.
We will update this website as our status changes. Until then, treat every service described here as planned, not available. The service categories we are preparing for:
